Mary Kisler, Senior Curator International Art, discusses the 20 works by expatriate New Zealand artist Frances Hodgkins that were discovered in a forgotten folio in 2007.
Painted in the early 20th century, these works may have served as examples for Hodgkins' many art students, but how they came to be in a French private collection remains a mystery.
