Le Gavroche was the first London restaurant to be awarded 3 Michelin Stars, has been owned by the Roux family for more than 45 years and is famous around the world as a fine dining institution.
Join Chef Monica Galetti (also known for her role as the formidable judge on MasterChef The Professionals alongside Michel Roux Jr) when she flies in to partner with The Grove’s own Chef Ben Bayly to create a very special dining event – A Taste of Le Gavroche.
The Menu:
- Duck Consommé with horseradish flan
- Ragout of Oysters with fresh truffles
- Octopus with Barley and saffron
- Lamb with black garlic tarragon and olive jus
- Blue Leagram Pannacotta with pear balsamic
- Palet au chocolate amer (Bitter chocolate mousse with praline)
The six course degustation will be matched with New Zealand wines by Michael Dearth and the Le Gavroche’s own Head Sommelier. Menu is indicative only and may change. Tickets are very limited.
This is one of the very special Taste Dinner events, which over the course of Auckland Restaurant Month bring world-renowned chefs to central Auckland each week, knives at the ready, to collaborate with their talented local counterparts.
These events, with these chefs may never be repeated. This is your chance to try the food and meet the chefs, tickets will not last long!
