Racket is the second bar on Roukai Lane, in Britomart. Open from 4pm till late every day, Racket offers a laid back Cuban style atmosphere, a bar brimming with quality cocktails and live music most nights. 3 boys (men) returned home from years abroad with the intention of bringing the worlds finest beers with them for all New Zealanders to enjoy. For that we say thanks, and join in on the enjoyment down at Brew on Quay, the new brew bar in Britomart. Close proximity to Vector Arena for the pre or post show drink, or even just for the afterwork beer and a bite to eat up on the roof at the rooftop bar. The Northern Steamship is in the middle of the Britomart precinct, located in the 130 year old Northern Steamship Co. The bar's name is a bit of a misnomer. Sure, there's damn fine gourmet pizzas and flash burgers on offer, but the menu's real role is to accompany fun times in a liquid form.

It’s off the beaten track a little - across the road from CityLife Hotel on Durham Lane - but it’s worth the sideways wander; particular if you have a penchant for old architecture. Auckland’s oldest commercial building, the structure dates back to the 1850s. Now restored, unique historical features take pride of place in this Monteith’s bar.

Bar TABAC is one of Auckland's coolest bars, an institution serving Auckland since 1997. It has become a favourite night spot, providing an ambient sophisticated setting in a rustic heritage building in the back streets of Downtown Auckland City.

Department of Conversation (or D.O.C for short) does its bit to live up to its name. An easy spot for conversation at the bar or find a booth if its a private gaggle with some friends.
