If you havent checked out the Cassette Supermarkets yet you are in for a treat
Focusing mainly on the work of young creatives either straight from art school or embarking on their first solo business venture the SuperMarket and Cassette hopes to encourage and provide an outlet for this new emerging talent.
Cassette Supermarkets
These talented young upstarts are featured alongside stalls with pre-loved goodies too in the hope of providing something for everyone, all ages and for all pocket sizes.
The Supermarkets run every Saturday from noon until 5pm and provide yet another great reason to come shopping in the city on the weekend. The Supermarkets will close down for summer holidays however from Christmas until they re-open the first Saturday in Feb. So make sure you get down for the last two on Sat 11th & 18th! If you do miss them before Christmas and cant wait until Feb you can also catch them at this years Laneways Festival on Monday 31st January at Aotea Square. Cassette SuperMarkets will be providing festival goers with some interesting shopping solutions to perfectly compliment the live entertainment on offer!!!
