Pasion por Tango
Offering authentic Argentinian tango lessons and relaxed social events
Taught by highly experienced Argentinian dancers, Pasion por Tango lessons embrace a range of tango styles, including tango salon and tango milonguero. Lessons are available at both beginner and intermediate levels, along with technique workshops and tuition for individuals and small groups.
Classes are held in the Pasion por Tango studio in the historic Barrington Building. Closely resembling a typical Buenos Aires tango studio, it is a beautiful light, airy space with high ceilings, tall windows and wooden floors.
Twice a month the studio hosts social ‘milongas’ or dance parties, when the studio is set up as ‘a night in Buenos Aires’. There are also casual fortnightly tea-and-tango ‘practicas’, or practice events, which allow students to practise the dances in a fun, relaxed environment.
